The Grey House, including

House, including garden wall and railings. C18, refronted earlier C19, and
probably mid C19 wall and railings. Red brick with colourwashed rusticated
stucco front and Welsh slate roof with brick end stacks. Band, cornice and
stone coped gables and parapet. 2 storeys of 3 2/2 sash windows. Moulded
architraves, those on ground floor eared. Central doorcase with pilasters,
and 6-panelled door with overlight. 2 storey extension on left end with 2/2
sash. C18 staircase inside. Extending forward from front right corner of
house, a red brick wall with brick and terracotta coping and c2-3m high. This
turns along Church Road in front of house and becomes cast-iron railings
with fleur-de-lys finials. A similar central pedestrian gate with scroll
pattern flat side piers.
