War Memorial. Circa 1920. In the form of a calvary with simple wooden cross and bronze hanging figure of Christ with wood and tiled gabled weatherhood above. This is set on a rectangular stone plinth with moulded top and base set on a circular step. The north side has an inscription "IN MEMORY OF THOSE FROM THIS PARISH WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919". Names of the Fallen are inscribed on the other faces. The memorial's Roll of Honour was inscribed on the adjoining north wall of the stairs of St John's Church, now apart from the plinth and stairs, demolished following bomb damage.
