2 cottages, now a house. Early C17, raised late C18, with C19
and C20 alterations. Coursed and squared ironstone and brick
with flared headers with limestone ashlar dressings and slate
roofs. Single coped gable, first floor brick band, single coped
stone gable stack, single gable and single ridge brick stacks. 2
storeys, 3 bays. L-plan. North front has to left an off-centre
C19 doorway with plain wood jambs and door with 6 vertical
panels, flanked by single 2 light casements and beyond, to right,
by a 2 light sliding sash. Beyond again, to right, gabled wing
with a 2 light sliding sash. All these openings havesegmental
heads. Above, to left, 2 two light sliding sashes. Beyond, to
right, the gable has a 2 light casement with segmental head. The
return angle has a 2 light casement. South west end has to
right, a C20 porch and to left, a C19 hipped single storey
outbuilding with a door and acasement. Above, a central 2 light
sliding sash. Rear elevation has an off-centre C20 flat roofed
porch, flanked by single sliding sashes and beyond, to left, a
casement. Above, to right, 2 sliding sashes. Beyond, to left, 2
casements.
