II

House. C16 or early C17 with late C18 or early C19 facade. Timber framed,
clad in painted brick. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attic with cogged brick
eaves cornice. Roof hipped to right. Multiple brick ridge stack to centre.
Small hipped dormer towards right end. Irregular fenestration of 4 windows;
one 3-light casement, one fixed light and two 12-pane glazing bar sashes in
open boxes. Central boarded door in painted brick porch with hipped plain
tiled roof. Interior: only partly inspected. Ground floor right hand room
has hollow chamfered beam and joists. Inglenook fireplace. Exposed timbers.
Moated site.
