Oast house. Late C19. Kilns chequered red and grey brick,
stowage weather-boarded timber-framing to first floor on
chequered brick piers. Stowage formerly open to front with
3 timber posts with padstones, later infilled with weatherboarding.
Plain tile roofs. 2 circular kilns at north end of rectangular
stowage. Kilns with dentilled brick eaves and truncated conical
roofs, stowage roof hipped to south. Three 1980s 2-light casements
in C19 style to stowage. Boarded first-floor door to right end
of stowage and to left gable end, latter up iron steps. 2 late
half-glazed doors to ground floor of stowage. Brick dated 1877
on kiln. Interior: scientific queen-strut roof. Boarding dated
1877.
