Footbridge over stream and wall abutting on North-West side. Late C18. Large blocks of undressed quartz, Ham stone
voussoirs, brick soffits and abutments. Single span arched bridge without coping, Shallow waterfall of 6 steps created
in stream below on North site. Abutting wall on North West side, undressed quartz, about one metre high and continued
for about 10 metres. Bridge not accessible at time of survey (March 1984). This is all that remains of Batts Park. The
house stood about 100 metres to the North-West and was demolished in 1937 when Sherford camp was built. Also known
erroneously as the Roman Bridge.
