Lych gate. 1930. By W D Caröe for Mrs Luard in memory of her husband and son. Dressed local sandstone, graduated stone slates to gambrell roof with pierced wooden infill to gablet ends.
Plan: two bay roof, north front looking onto churchyard. South front set back buttresses with offsets reaching to eaves, flat wooden lintel on corbelled out wooden uprights, low wooden double gates with wrought iron cresting, four-light openings on returns pierced by double row of turned balusters; depressed segmental arch on north front. Tie beam inscribed to Charles Willard Hagley Luard born March 1914, died 1928, and his father Major Charles Luard, died September 1914. A good design.
