Late C8/early C19 3 storey red brick front set back from the road. Hipped slate
roof. Eaves brackets possibly later. 5 windows, centre ones headed. Sashes
with glazing bars. Frilled hinds for blinds to side windows. Stone door surround
with Tuscan pilasters, open pediment and fanlight.
The Orchard forms a group with the Old Vicarige. Fons George, and the New Inn,
Wilton Street.
