House. Early C18, C19 additions to right. Red brick with flared headers in
Flemish bond; Welsh slate hipped roof; brick end stacks. 3-storey, 6-window
range. Glazed door with fanlight to centre having wood Doric pillar surround
supporting open triangular pediment. Single-light leaded transom windows with
segmental brick heads and keystones to left and right of centre. Wood
cross-windows, most with leaded lights, with segmental brick heads and
keystones, to left and right. Flat stone band between ground and first floor.
Wood cross-windows with leaded lights and segmental brick heads and keystones to
first floor. Flat stone band between first and second floor. 2-light leaded wood
casements with segmental brick heads and keystones to second floor. Stone band
to eaves. Similar fenestration to rear. Interior: dog-leg staircase with
landings from ground floor to second floor, having baluster balustrade and
turned acorn finials to handrail. Fielded panelling to entrance hall and sitting
room to left. Many C18 panelled doors to interior. C19 addition to right: red
brick with flared headers in Flemish bond; Welsh slate lean-to roof. 2-storey,
single-window range. Wood cross-windows to ground and first floor.
