Two cottages, now house. Early/mid C18. Colourwashed chalk rubble and brick;
gabled thatch roof; brick end and right ridge stacks. 3-unit plan. One storey
and attic; 3-window range. Segmental brick arches over C20 doors in outer bays,
with thatched porch to right. Similar arches over 8-pane sash and C19 two-light
casement; 2-light half-dormer casements. Roof hipped over extension to right of
similar materials. Interior: chamfered and stopped beams, winder stairs, open
fireplace in central room. First floor not inspected but likely to be of
interest. Formerly part of the "Pyrton, Clanville, Carnage and Waggon-makers".
