Inn, now public house. c.1810. Stucco; hipped Welsh slate roof; roughcast and
brick end stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range.
4-panelled double-leaf door set in revealed surround with large decorative
fanlight. Segmental arches over tripartite sashes: first floor 8-pane sash
flanked by tripartite sashes. Sashes to rear. Interior: large fireplace with
keyed architrave to right. Straight-run staircase with stick balusters. First
floor not inspected. Inn shown on 1819 Enclosure Map
(Oxfordshire Record Office, QSD/A, Vol.D, facing p.234).
