GV II

House. Mid C17 with later alterations. Mixed stone and brick plinth; regular
coursed limestone with brick dressings to ground floor; timber framing with
brick infill to first floor; old plain-tile roof, hipped to left; brick end
stacks. 2-storey, 5-window range. Ribbed door with open gabled porch to centre.
3-light leaded casements with brick hoods to left and right. Single-light leaded
casement with brick hood to left of centre. Irregular fenestration of casements
to first floor. Interior not inspected. Wall to right of knapped flint with red
brick dressings and angled brick coping. Datestone of 1695 to left. Datestone to
right inscribed "William Dobson VII of June (?) MDCCIC. Wall approx. 2m. high
and forming 3 sides of a rectangle approx. 65m. long to right return and 22m.
long to rear.
