GV II

Farmhouse, now house. Probably late C16 with C20 alterations. Painted brick to
ground floor, with some timber framing to right; angle-braced timber framing
with painted brick infill to first floor; thatch roof; brick end stack to left.
2-storey, 2-window range at right-angles to lane. Irregular fenestration of
2-light leaded casements, except 3-light leaded casement to first floor right.
C20 door with lean-to porch to rear. C20 stairs. Queen post roof construction.
Open fireplace to ground floor left with painted frieze, probably C17, above.
Open fireplace to first floor left. Chamfered spine beams and joists with ogee
end stops to ground floor. Single-storey addition to left with hipped thatched
roof.
