Almshouses, now house. Built c.1620 for Sir Francis Stonor. Cruck-framed flint
rubble with brick quoins and dressings; gabled old tile roof; C20 brick ridge
stack. One-storey and attic; 7-window range. Flat brick header arches over C20
door, 3 blocked doorways and 2-light casements. Four C20 gabled dormers.
Interior: alterations in 1978 revealed 5-bay raised crucks, open fireplace
adjoining winder stairs, and stop-chamfered beams.
