Two cottages. Early C18 with earlier cottage to left. Flemish bond red/orange
brick with flared headers on flint base; gabled old tile roof; brick ridge
stack. 4-unit plan of 2 units to each cottage. One storey and attic; 4-window
range. Each cottage has segmental arches over plank doors and flanking C20
three-light casements: similar casements to dormers. C20 one-storey extensions
to sides. Interior: cottage to right has chamfered beams and plain joists; open
fireplace with rear bread-oven and timber-framed partition right of door. First
floor and left cottage not inspected but likely to be of interest.
