Farmhouse. Late C17, perhaps with earlier origins, refronted in early C18. Front
of Flemish bond brick: other walls of flint rubble with brick dressings. Old
tile roof; brick stack. L-plan. 2 storeys; 5-window range. Early C20 porch and
door, originally round-arched. Segmental arches over C19 horned ground-floor
sashes: gauged brick flat arches over first-floor narrowed openings with sashes.
Round arch with keystone over central first-floor sash. Moulded stone cornice.
Gabled roof; ridge stack. Brick rear outshut adjoins late C17 rear left wing of
2-storey, 3-window range: flint rubble with brick dressings, gabled old tile
roof and brick ridge stack. Left side wall has C20 door to front, moulded string
course, and first-floor 2-light window has gauged and moulded brick eared
architrave with acanthus brackets. Interior: some C18 panelled doors. Late Cl6
fireplace to right. Mid C18 panelled room to left has fluted pilasters flanking
fireplace. Ogee-stopped chamfered beams. First floor has roll-stopped beam to
left and probably late C16 fireplace to right. Butt-purlin roof with obscured
trusses to front. 3-bay queen-post roof to rear.
