House. Probably mid C18 with early C19 alterations. Grey brick with red brick
dressings; old plain-tile hipped roof; brick end stacks. U-shaped plan with
cross-wings to rear. 2-storey, 3-window range. 6-panel door with flat hood to
single-storey wing to right. C19 three-light wood mullion and transom window to
left with segmental brick head. Two 12-pane sashes to right with segmental brick
heads. Three 12-pane sashes to first floor. Irregular fenestration to rear and
cross-wings. Incised letters on bricks to right return: "AT,MB,JC,EJ,MC,MS,SW".
Interior has some C20 alterations. Included for group value.
