Chest tomb and 2 headstones. c.1740. Stone. Chest tomb: rectangular. Moulded
base. 2 fielded inscribed panels to each side and single panels to each side.
Moulding to edge of top. Headstone to Barton Day: c.1743. Inscribed shaped panel
with rolled edges. Winged head with rococo surround to shaped top. Inscription
reads "Here Lieth the Body of Barton Day, he dyd April ye 24th 1743 Aged 81
years". Headstone to Sarah Day: c.1731. Inscribed shield-shaped panel with
floral garlands to sides, winged head to shaped top. Inscription reads "Here
lyeth the body of Sarah, the Wife of Barton Day, whoe died Nov ye 8 1731 Aged 67
years".
