House. Probably C17, remodelled circa 1830. Render grooved as ashlar, quoins, steeply pitched slate roof, coped verges,
stone stack right, C20 brick left and centre. 2-storeys, 7 bays; casements with glazing bars, ground floor windows with
louvred shutters, 4 centred arch headed casement in first floor of central shaped gable porch, entrance below through 4
centred arch opening with hood mould, dated 1529 (possibly reset) in left spandrel, four and three and a half bay
single storey wooden verandah with parapet on either side of porch with half bay returns, early C19. C17 extension on
right return elevation. Interior not viewed. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, December 1979). This is probably the Manor
House that was owned by the Priory in Taunton before the Reformation, hence its name.
