House. c1740. Brick with slate roof. 2-storeyed with attic,
5-window range with central doorway, a part-glazed 5-panelled
door in architrave with triglyph frieze and flat entablature.
The doorway is raised up steps with cast-iron railings. 2-pane
sash windows flank the door on each floor, with recessed brick
aprons beneath the first-floor windows, and flat-arched heads
with keystones. Angles stressed with full-height stuccoed
Doric pilasters with triglyph frieze, then 12-pane sash
windows beneath the cornice. Gable end stacks. Original
staircase inside, with 3 twisted balusters per tread, and
carved tread-ends.
