House. 1904. By Watson Fothergill of Nottingham. Red brick,
with blue brick and ashlar dressings, and timber framing with
patterned brick nogging. Gabled and hipped plain tile roofs
with 2 corniced side wall and rear wall stacks. Plinth and
first floor band. 2 storeys plus attics; 3 x 3 bays.
Street front has a central round-arched doorway with recessed
double door and overlight. To left, a projecting bay with a
canted bay window under a hipped roof, and above, a gabled
through-eaves dormer, timber-framed, with a 3-light window. To
right, a corner turret with conical spire roof, the lower
stage canted with 2 windows. Timber-framed upper stage has 3
cross casements. Attics have a hipped dormer.
Right return has a slightly projecting centre, topped with a
large through-eaves dormer. Right corner has an angled bay
window.
