II
House, now two dwellings. 1815 for Meade King. Colourwashed render, wide boxed eaves, hipped slate roof, rendered
stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays, centre projects slightly; 9-pane sash windows on first floor except centre window of 4-
panes, large semi-circular head windows to ground floor in semi-circular head niches, 8-pane sash windows; central
recessed door opening, paired half-glazed doors, fanlight, outer doorway with semi-circular head, detached Tuscan
column to each side and pilaster to wall supporting a short section of entablature. Secondary door opening to rear.
Interior much altered; ornamental plaster cornice; cast-iron safe dated 1815.
