House. C15, late C16/early C17 alterations; carved date stone MRI 1671. Random rubble, thatch roof, coped verges, 2
rendered and a single brick stack. Open hall house, later altered to 3-unit and cross-passage plan, subsequent C18
internal rearrangment. Single storey and attic, 3:1 bays, 3 and 4-light ovolo-moulded stone mullioned windows under
stopped labels, 4-light windows with a central king mullion; left 3 bays to first floor in 3 front-facing gabled
dormers with copings and pierced finials; right bay in a projecting wing with a front facing gable, again a pierced
finial; all windows with leaded lights, iron stanchions, scrolly iron quadrant on first floor. Door opening to second
bay from left, in a chamfered 4-centred stone surround, studded plank door with fine iron strap hinges. Interior with
exposed ceiling beams, some C17 doors and door surrounds, small C17 staircase with splat balusters and pierced finials
and pendant; fireplace to left of ground floor in a moulded 4-centred head stone surround. Single storey outshut to
left is not of special interest.
