House, now inn. C15/early C16, much early C19 refurbishaent including a wing at right angles to left of frontage.
Coursed and squared rubble, triple Roman tile roof, 4 brick stacks. Originally 3-unit and cross- passage plan, now much
altered. Two storeys, 3 bays, 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars, some to ground floor with concrete lintols;
2-storey wing, ridge at right angles to frontage, inner face of 2 bays, casements in conforming style. All windows with
C20 wooden shutters. Two door openings, plank doors, gabled wooden hoods on brackets. Interior with exposed ceiling
beams; chamfered cross-beam ceiling; fireplace with a broad wooden bressumer, dressed stone jambs.
