Farmhouse. C16, much C19 and some C20 alteration. Coursed and squared rubble, freestone dressings including quoins,
slate roof, coped verges, brick stacks. E-shaped frontage at right-angles to road; cross passage plan; 2 storeys,
1:1:1:2:1 bays, predominantly 3-light casements; French windows to left of ground floor, C20 casement to right of
ground floor; two 3-light moulded stone-mullioned windows to ground floor; outer bays in projecting wings with front
facing gables; third bay from left in projecting stair-turret, again front facing gable, cruciform finial, large
freestone tablet with an eagle in relief, small leaded casement in a chamfered and dressed stone surround. Door opening
to fourth bay from left, chamfered dressed stone surround with a 4-centred head, studded plank door. Interior with a
moulded cross-beamed ceiling; some deeply chamfered ceiling beams; fire-place with a broad wooden bressumer, dressed
jambs; large C18 fitted cupboard with 2 tiers of doors.
