Manor house, now part of Downside Abbey estate. C17; C18 and C20 alteration. Coursed rubble, flush dressed quoins,
moulded stone eaves cornice, coped verges, pantile roof, rubble stacks with caps. Two storeys and attic, 5 bays, 2 and
3-light moulded stone-mullioned window to first floor, stopped labels; sash windows with glazing bars in moulded
architraves to ground floor. Similar architrave surrounds central door opening, renewed late C20, triangular pediment
on brackets, C20 panelled door. Single bay outshut of lower height to left. Rubble forecourt wall with a dressed stone
coping, central polygonal ashlar gate piers, wrought-iron gate.
