House and attached former shop. C15, remodelled C16, refronted on gable end late C18, early C19 extension. Random
rubble, rusticated quoins, double Roman tile roof, 2 brick stacks, octagonal ashlar stack to rear wing. House with
traditional medieval alignment with gable to street frontage, refronted by a C18 cross wing, symmetrical facade. Two
storeys, 3 bays, sash windows with glazing bars in plain stone surrounds. Central door opening in a similar surround,
6-panelled door. Early C19 two storey extension to right, of lower height; coursed rubble, pantile roof. Single flush
mounted sash window with glazing bars to upper floor; shop front of 6-lights to ground floor, integral 6-panelled door,
top 2 panels glazed. C15 wing of one storey and attic, one bay, to rear; 4-light hollow-moulded stone-mullioned window
on ground floor. Door opening to left, plank door. Interior has moulded 6-panelled ceiling inserted in open hall in
C16, fireplace in 4-centred stone surround on first floor. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, 1982)
