Farmhouse. C15, C16 and C17 alterations and additions. Rubble, stone tile roof, coped verges, rubble stacks, that to
right projecting. Cross passage plan. Two storeys, 2:2 bays, 4-light ogee-moulded stone king-mullioned windows, those
to ground floor with relieving arches, casements with leaded lights; left 2 windows under stopped labels, right 2
windows under a string course. Central C15 2-storey cross-gabled porch, 2 stage diagonal buttresses; 2-light moulded
stone nullioned window to first floor, each light with a cusped head, dripmould over with diamond terminals, casements
with leaded lights; broad door opening in a moulded 4 centred stone surround, dripmould; inner door opening in a
moulded 4-centred stone surround, ribbled door. Stair turret to right of rear, 3 further 2-light mullioned windows,
each light with a cusped head; door opening in a 4-centred stone surround, further blocked door opening. Interior:-
fine fireplace to right ground floor room in a 4-centred stone surround, flanked by plain pilasters with scroll
capitals, moulded cornice mantle overall; decorative early C17 plaster ceiling; hall with blocked lateral stone
fireplace; arch-braced roof of C15. Once the home of Thomas Lord Seymour of Sudely, who married Queen Catherine Parr
