Church. 1824 by H E Goodridge for the Rev Charles Daubney, Archdeacon of Salisbury. Ashlar, slate roof. Free Gothic with some Geometric and Decorated detail. Nave and chancel of 4 and 1 bays respectively, tall 2-light windows; blind aisles; prominent buttresses to each side and the angles with weathered gabled caps. Twin polygonal turrets at West end with stepped spires, 2 small spirelets to east end. Interior in a similar flamboyant style with a 4-bay arcade to each side of nave, chamfered 4-centred arches; gallery to west end supported on one wide and 2 narrow arches in a similar style. Stone altar with a reredos, gabled hood with crockets; a niche to each side of the east window, metal decalogue plaques. Monuments flanking the altar to the Daubney family particularly that to right to Archdeacon Daubney bounded by 2 large allegorical statues in niches. Tall chancel arch of 3 orders, chancel with plaster rib vault and plain stained glass. Co-eval pews, choir stalls and font in a similarly extrovert style.
