Built 1691 for Theophilus Lacey (Deeds). Possibly earlier fabric. Many later
alterations. Built of coursed rubble. Modern pantile roof, end chimneys, the right
hand one stone. 2 gabled dormers. 2 storeys, 3 windows, C19 sashes in architraves,
paired to ground floor left-hand side. Plain central door opening. Panelled pier
to left-hand side on moulded plinth (part of earlier structure). Projecting wrought
iron inn sign with painted board. 2 storey extension over river with 2 paired
sashes on 1st floor.
