Incorrectly shown on OS map as Ford Farm. Farmhouse. C17, enlarged mid C19. Red sandstone random rubble, colourwashed
facade, thatched roof hipped to right, slate roofed addition to rear flanking double span roof, large external stepped
stone stack on facade to left of original entrance, stone stack right, brick left gable end and on gable end of C19
addition. 3 cell and cross passage enlarged. One and a half storeys, 4 bays; 3-light leaded dormer windows, ground
floor 4-light ovolo moulded mullion window to right of main entrance, 3-light casement window to left of stack and
3-light beyond original entrance with tiny lancet end bay right. Original cross passage entrance to left of stack,
plank door, pentice stone hood on wrought iron brackets, present main entrance outer bay left, gabled and thatched
rustic wooden porch, plank door. Interior: 2 pairs of jointed crucks, and 2 singles exposed, arch headed doorway
groundfloor, moulded beads running out to a point, plank and muntin screen visible on kitchen side of cross passage.
