Farmhouse, now divided. C17, red sandstone random rubble, colourwashed facade triple Roman tiled roof, large external
stepped stone stack on facade gable end with tiled offsets, brick stack left. Plan: 2 rooms to left of cross passage,
service wing to right now separate dwelling much altered and therefore not included. 2-storeys, irregular fenestration,
first floor 2- and 3- casement windows to left of stack, 3-light mullioned and transomes oriel to right, many paned
windows carved decoration on mullions and transomed, slate pentice and diamond slate sill, 2-light casement window
below, canted bay set into angle with stack left, slate pentice, early C19 3-light caseaent window beyond. Entrance on
right side of gable which has been extended to form porch, imported carved wooden lintel, C20 plank door. There is a
blank panel above oriel to right which say have been a date stone. Lancet;window on left return lighting spiral stair
beside chimney. Interior not viewed. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, October 1975; photograph in NMR).
