House, formerly a farmhouse. Two main periods: mid to late C17 and circa 1800. Late C20 alterations. Front wall of Hamstone in squared coursed ashlar: C17 banded courses to right; c1800 uniform courses to left, probably a refacing; otherwise walls of rubble. Thatched roof with decorative ridge. Coped end gables. Two brick gable end stacks. Originally a three unit plan with cross passage (1 : P : 2) but considerably altered in late C20. An added rear wing containing dairy with loft converted to kitchen in early C19. Two storeys, three window front. Entrance doorway to former cross passage with flat cockbead stone surround of c1800. Plain boarded door. A three-light casement with hollow chamfer stone mullions on each floor of left hand bay. A similar two-light mullioned window to ground floor of central bay with eared hoodmould over. Other windows in front are four-light timber framed casements.

Interior altered but retains stop chamfered beams and mid to late C17 stone arched F.P.surround with hollow and ogee mouldings. Bread oven associated with chimney in rear wing.
