Cottage. C17 or earlier. Local stone with Ham stone dressings, all whitewashed; thatch; brick end and intermediate
chimney stacks. 3- room through passage plan; single storey with attics, 4-bays with 2- bay extension to North.
Hollow chamfer mullioned window with rectangular leaded panes 4-light wide, under label, to bay-1; a similar window
without label to bay-2; thatch and stone C20 porch to old boarded door in heavy frame to bay-3; leaded casements lower
bay-4 and upper bay-1, remainder leaded steel windows set into thatch remains of an interesting framework for
possibly a C18 dormer to bays -3 and -4. North extension tiled, with C20 casements. Interior not seen, but reported
are three jointed cruck trusses with posts complete, smoke blackening in roof and some wattle and daub partitioning,
some chamfered beans with step and runout stops, some solid oak stairs. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, 1980)
