Cottage. C17 origins. Local stone rubble with Ham stone dressings; double Roman clay tiles between coped gables; brick
end and intermediate chimney stalls. 2-storeys, 3-bays irregular fenestration. Hollow chamfered mullioned windows
with inserted casements, mostly 3-lights, but these may be imported. Oval window to ground floor left of bay-1 and
between bays-1 and -2 a C20 glazed door in moulded cambered arched doorway with label over. 1-storey C20 extension to
East. Interior not seen. The C20 garages to West side rear not included, but included as an essential part of the
street scene is the roadside boundary wall about 3 metres South of house, random rubble construction 1.75 metres high
across front of house rising to 2.5 metres Eastwards. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, 1972).
