Farmhouse, cottage and mill in continuous row. Early C16, modified. Ham stone near-ashlar; double Roman clay tiled
roof, between coped gables on main block; brick chimney stacks. House 'L'-plan; 2 storeys, 6 bays. Plinth, cill string
to first floor; horizontal-bar casements of 3-lights to bay 1 and lower bay 3, with timber lintels, otherwise
hollow-chamfered mullioned windows in wave-mould recesses with square labels, all 4-light except upper bay 5 which is
3-light, the upper windows having small gables over; to lower bay 2 plain boarded door in recess, no window above; main
entrance to right of bay 4, with hollow-chamfered 4-centre-arched doorway in rectangular wave mould recess under square
label having C20 boarded door with glazed panel; pair doors in false elliptical arch lower bay 6; 4 unexplained corbel
brackets along front elevation. Lean-to with boarded door to east gable; rear elevation altered, but retains cill
string to first floor level. Interior not seen, but previous listing reports an inserted floor of c1600, a 7-bay arched
collar-braced roof; chamfered ceiling beams and partly blocked large kitchen fireplace. Cottage forms next unit
eastwards, 2 storeys, 2 bays under same roofline but set at angle to house; lower bay 1 has a C20 part-glazed door
under timber lintel, bay 2 has 3-light horizontal-bar casements to both levels. Mill is the most easterly unit set at
same angle as cottage, astride the mill leet. Two storeys, 5 bays. Horizontal-bar casement windows under timber
lintels,2-light except lower bay 1 which is 3-light; partly blocked doorway to upper bay 1; wide stable-type door lower
bay 2 under timber and corrugated iron porch, and pair of wide doors to bay 4, giving access to the water wheel, plain
boarded door bay 5. Interior not seen, but the mill said to be still in working order. A site apparently used for
milling since at least the C16.
