Cottage. C17 and C19. Local stone cut and squared, roughly coursed; clay double Roman tile to north block, thatch to
lower south block, plain gables; brick end chimney stacks. 2 storeys, with attic to north half; 2-bays each half. North
block has small cross glazed casement windows with voussoired and keystoned flat arched heads, irregular arrangement;
similar windows to south block, one above wide boarded door in heavy frame bay 3 and another to lower bay 4, then a
lean-to with double Roman tiled roof. Interior not seen, but report speaks of south gable end fireplace with traces of
ovens, also fragments of jointed crucks, and a bead-moulded stud and panel partition. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO,
1977).
