Farmhouse. Mid-C17, remodelled in the mid-to late C19. Rendered timber
frame on painted stone plinth. Fishscale tile roof. L-plan. Baffle-
entry hall range of 2 framed bays with gabled cross wing to south-east
of 2 framed bays (flush to front). 2 storeys and gable-lit attic, over
basement to right. Plinth to right-hand return front. Large brick
ridge stack just off-centre to left with 4 diagonally-set square shafts.
3-window front; one-, 2-and 3-light C20 metal casements. Central gabled
porch with segmental-headed half-glazed door. Left-hand return front
with 2 windows to each floor; 2-and 3-light casements. Right-hand gable
end with casement to each floor and 2 basement openings. Late C19 brick
addition at rear. Interior: chamfered spine beams, cased in left-
hand ground-floor room. Large open fireplace in right-hand ground-
floor room with chamfered wooden lintel and 2 small cupboards flanking
C20 fireplace inside. Left-hand ground-floor room with C17 panelling
dated 1664 and late C17 panelled door.
