Shown on O.S. map as Old Mill.
Mill, now disused. Mid-C18 with later alterations. Red brick; plain tile
roof with coped verges on carved stone kneelers. 2 levels with floor
bands to front and gable ends. Segmental-headed doorways to left and
centre with similar infilled opening to right; square-headed window
opening immediately to left of latter. Square-arched doorway with gauged
head in right gable end gives access to wheel. Integral stack to centre
of front wall. Interior: massive undershot wheel with wooden spokes
and small cast-iron grinding wheel behind. Grinding and lifting gear
(some still in situ) with fireplace to front wall. King-post roof in
4 bays with lofts to left and right.
