Cottage. C17 with later additions and alterations. Pebbledashed timber frame on rendered plinth; machine tile roof. Two-cell end baffle-entry plan with two storey gabled range added to left early C20. One storey and attic.

Framing: visible beneath pebbledash; square panels, three from cill to wall-plate, with long straight tension braces. Two casements to ground floor, left early C20, right small and C19; C20 gabled dormer in bottom of roof slope directly above left window. Entrance to left through four-panel door (top panels now glazed) under C20 lean-to hood carried down from roof slope. Red brick ridge stack directly above (formerly integral to gable end) rebuilt in early C20. Projecting double-purlin ends to right gable end.

INTERIOR: timber frame substantially intact behind plaster including to cross-walls; left ground-floor room has chamfered cross beam and joists.

C20 gabled addition to left is not of special architectural interest.
