Farmhouse, now house. Early C17 and c.1800, with later additions and alterations.
C17 part timber framed with painted brick infill, c.1800 part red brick, slate
roofs. Only 1 1/2 bays of C17 house survive with c.1800 part built at an oblique
angle to west. C17 part: 2 storeys and gable-lit attic; framing: close
studding to north side and gable end, which is jettied to attic, and square
panels to south; the jetty has a carved bressumer and on the first floor are
the console and cill of a blocked oriel window; scattered mid-C20 casements
in panels of framing on south side. Circa 1800 part: 3 storeys; 3-window
front, glazing bar sashes with segmental heads; central entrance, 6-panel
door in pedimented doorcase with semi-circular fanlight; raised verges and
integral end stacks.
