Includes No 2 Cross Street. Early C19, in part to earlier timber frame exposed
internally. Engraved stucco; 2 storeys; 9 sash windows, generally with single
glazing bars only; doorway with plain keyblock and lintel, rectangular fanlight
and 6-panelled door; 3 later C19 shop fronts with modern glazing; bold lined
eaves; 4 hipped dormers; half-hipped slate roof. The interior is much altered
but the east side of No 3 has exposed timber-framing in the upper storey. No
2 Cross Street, on the return side is of 3 storeys with 3 sash windows, a plain
wood doorcase and one gabled dormer.
