- porch of Church of Saint

Churchyard steps. Circa 1888-9, probably by J.L. Pearson. Red
sandstone. Chamfered coping, ramped up to porch. Flight of 13 stone
steps. Wrought-iron overthrow (possibly dating from 1959)with cresting
and lamp and lettered: "THY WORD IS A LANTERN UNTO MY FEET AND A LIGHT UNTO
MY PATH". Pair of wooden gates. There is a memorial tablet dated July
27th 1959 behind the left-hand wall which might refer to the erection of the
overthrow. Included for group value.
