Farmhouse. Mid-to late C18 with late C19 additions. Red brick with
plain tile roof, 2-span over C19 addition to left. 2 storeys and
gable-lit attic. Gothick style. Dentil brick eaves cornice (bricks
set on edge to C18 block); 2 stacks at rear. 2 bays; first- and
ground-floor C19 three-light wooden casements to right with ogee brick
heads and blind tympana; first-floor C19 two-light segmental-headed
wooden casement to left; early C19 two-panelled half-glazed doors to
left with bracketed triangular-pedimented porch (re-set in C18 doorway -
see blocked ogee-headed doorway behind). Late C19 addition set back
to left with 3-light C20 wooden casements in altered openings to each
floor. C20 lean-to one-storey addition to right. C19 lean-to
addition at rear. Interior not inspected. C20 alterations to the
C19 extension do not affect the integrity of the C18 house with its
unusual details.
