House. Circa 1830 with mid-C19 additions. Rendered brick, slate roofs and
end stacks. Central portion of 3 bays with later additions to left and set
back to right. 2 storeys; central section has full-height 3-window canted
bays projecting to left and right with one bay to centre; glazing bar sashes
(16-paned to ground floor) with later C19 horned sashes to outer windows on
both floors to right projection and to upper floor only on left; central
entrance through 3-sided rendered brick porch with splayed roof. Mid-C19
addition set back to right used as a meeting place for Independent Calvinists
until c.1914. V.C.H., VIII (1968), p.131.
