Bridge. Dated 1710, repaired 1886. Regularly coursed and
dressed sandstone blocks. Central 4-centred arch flanked by triangular
cutwaters, carried up to form pedestrian refuges, end lower segmental arches;
all arches with dripstones. Low parapet surmounted by cast-iron railings,
probably of 1888. Uncoursed rubble abutments. Cast-iron plaque
on north approach (east side) reads: "LLANYBLODWEL BRIDGE / THIS BRIDGE
WAS TAKEN OVER BY THE / COUNTY COUNCIL OF SALOP IN 1899": Spans the
River Tanat, forming a picturesque group with the Horse Shoe Inn (q.v.)
and The Cottage (q.v.). Scheduled Ancient Monument, County No. 229.
