Cottage. C17, altered and extended in mid C19. Timber-framed with red brick
and plastered infill on stone plinth; stone slate roof (repaired with Welsh
slates to rear), stone end stacks, that to right projecting, one to left
of double thickness. 1½ storeys; 2 framed bays; 3 square panels to eaves;
4 C19 casements to ground floor, 2 C19 gabled dormers with bargeboards and
finials in roof slope; roughly central entrance. Both gable ends are stone
clad, the left one to some considerable thickness to allow for the provision
of a second fireplace when the single-storeyed extension was added to the
left in mid C19; outshut to rear at right. The interior retains its timber
frame substantially intact and the roof is of Queen strut type with V-struts
to the collar.
