Cottage. 1845 (date in Roman numerals on wooden plaque to gable). Random
limestone rubble, plain tiled roofs, prominent red brick stack with 3 attached
shafts of star shape; Tudor- Gothic and Swiss-chalet mixed style; roughly
T-shaped in plan with C20 extensions to side and rear. 2 storeys; 1:1 windows
with slight gabled projection to right, mid C19 casements with wooden labels;
roughly central entrance in an angle with gable, boarded door with Tudor arch
under gabled porch. All the gables have scrollwork bargeboards and broken
finials.
