House. Circa 1840 with dated additions of 1895. Brick to front and sides,
uncoursed limestone rubble to rear, whole pebbledashed; low-pitched hipped
slate roof, partly concealed by parapet with engineering red brick stacks to
rear at junction with late C19 additions. 2 storeys with stone moulded
eaves cornice. 5-window front, horned glazing bar sashes. Central entrance;
pedimented stone Tuscan doorcase with original half-glazed double doors.
Interior: inspection not possible at time of resurvey (April 1986) but noted
as having panelled shutters to ground-floor windows. 1895 additions are not
of special architectural interest.
