Cottage, now disused. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed with painted brick infill and plinth, roughcast to front and left gable end; graded slate roof. One storey and attic; three framed bays. Framing: visible to back wall and right gable end; square panels with long straight tension braces and some later horizontal members and braces. Horizontal sliding sash to centre on ground floor with late C19 gabled eaves dormers (windows missing) to left and right. C19 boarded door to far right under contemporary gabled hood. Red brick integral lateral stack to centre of back wall.
Interior. Ground floor in three rooms divided by timber framed cross walls. Chamfered cross beam and C19 wooden fireplace surround to centre room; ogee-headed surrounds to windows on both floors to left gable end. Straight-flight staircase to far right behind ledged and braced door has plain balusters to first floor. Single-purlin collar and tie beam roof in three bays.
